Dedicated to the memory of Heather McLean
This site is a tribute to Heather McLean, neé Ireland, who was born in Manchester on February 11, 1936 and died just before Christmas 2017. Prior to marrying her beloved husband Alister in 1991 she was known as Heather Scott. Heather was a teacher in Blackpool, Lancashire for many years before retiring to Scotland with Alister.
She is much loved and will always be remembered by husband Alister, her son Matthew and daughter-in-law Michele, her sister Ailsa, her step-daughters Alison & Cathy, and nephews David and Malcolm. Also by her many friends, in the hand-bell ringing community and beyond.
